Sicily Tours

The Godfather tour is the best way to appreciate and relive parts of the most watched film in the world and to visit Savoca, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. This delightful city of art has been chosen as the set for several very important films, including “The Godfather”, directed by Francis Ford Coppola. You will see the Vitelli Bar (Palazzo Trimarchi), where Michael Corleone asked the hand of Apollonia's father in marriage.
Then we will visit the Church of San Nicolò or better called S. Lucia, one of the most beautiful things to see in Savoca, and only after that we will go around the town to discover this enchanting place.
On the way back we will make a panoramic stop in Forza d'Agrò, another fascinating medieval village, where we will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Ionian coast of Sicily.
Here is the church where the young Vito Andolini (later Vito Corleone) escaped from Don Ciccio's men by hiding in a basket on the back of a donkey.
On request we can include a visit to the 'Castle of the slaves' or better known as Villa Corleone where several scenes of the film were shot, in particular the explosion of the car with Apollonia inside.
